My scheduled review for the theatrical release of "Ghost Town" was canceled due to a nasty cold that yours truly picked up. I did see the film, however, so here's a quick capsule for the website:
Ricky Gervais and Tea Leoni have an easygoing chemistry that comes very close to smoothing over this supernatural comedy's stringently formulaic story. The film isn't bad by any means, but it is so low-key that it's rarely funny and difficult to get excited about. Rewatch 1990's "Ghost," instead.
